Each of our sensor models has a model where the part number ends in 40 such as the VP-7440 which is our surface mount device which requires 12V to operate and provides a relay contact closure when it detects someone lighting up a cigarette.
In addition to the VP-R630, R730 and R830 wireless receivers, we can provide three different WIRED annunciator options to connect to the VP-5240, VP-7240 etc.
These are the:
Each of the above R640 etc. comes with a 12V DC transformer that is plugged into AC power. The 12V power supply operates the annunciator as well as providing power via a customer supplied (four wire) cable to any of the sensors whose part numbers end in "40" which denotes 12V power with relay output.
The sensor when it detects a smoker lighting up provides a contact closure/alarm back to the VP-R640- Horn, VP-R740 Strove or VP-R840 Horn Strobe combination.
The customer must supply the four conductor cable to connect the anunciator with the sensor. |
